Request content.

What you'll do
Anything missing from Moonrock can be requested. Movies and TV run through a self-serve search-and-click tool. Books, audiobooks, and podcasts go through Elisha (or the Discord). Usually live within a day.

The pitch

How requests work.

Moonrock has a small army of background workers that watch for requests, grab the best available copy, sort it into the right library, and ping you when it lands. You search, you click, it arrives. Usually overnight.

  • Movies & TV
    Self-serve via Overseerr. Fulfilled nightly.
    request.elishalucero.com
  • Books & audiobooks
Add it to a shelf on Goodreads. Elisha pulls from there.

  • Podcasts
Send the RSS feed. Subscribed in minutes.
    DM Elisha
Get notified. Join the Discord to get pinged the moment your request lands on Moonrock. Better than checking Overseerr every hour.
01
Step one · the big one

Movies & TV.

Use Overseerr at request.elishalucero.com. Sign in with your Plex account (not your ABS one).

  1. 01Open request.elishalucero.com and click Sign in with Plex.
  2. 02Type the title in the search bar at the top.
  3. 03Pick the right movie/show from the results. Click Request. For TV, toggle which seasons you want (or hit "all").
  4. 04Go do something else. Moonrock handles it overnight. A Discord ping lets you know the moment it's on Plex.
Pro move. Click Watch Trailer on a title before requesting. If the trailer sells you, the movie probably will too. If it doesn't, you just saved Moonrock 8GB of disk space.
02
Step two · the readers

Books & audiobooks.

Books request themselves. You maintain a Goodreads shelf; Elisha pulls from your shelf into Moonrock. Nothing to submit, no forms.

  1. 01Make a Goodreads account if you don't have one. Free.
  2. 02Friend Elisha on Goodreads so she can see your shelves. Ask her for the link in Discord or text.
  3. 03Add anything you want to read or listen to onto your Want-to-Read shelf (or a custom shelf you name yourself; she picks those up too).
  4. 04Elisha sweeps Goodreads roughly once a day. New titles show up in your AudioBookshelf library usually within 24 hours.
Prefer a narrator? Goodreads audiobook entries are narrator-specific. If you pin the one you want onto your shelf, that's the edition that lands on Moonrock.
In a hurry? Bypassing the shelf works too: text Elisha or drop the title in Discord #requests. The shelf is the "set it and forget it" path.

Step three · easiest

Pod casts.

Podcasts are instant. You send a link, Elisha subscribes on the server, every new episode shows up in your ABS app automatically.

  1. 01Find the podcast's RSS feed (most sites have one, or copy the Apple Podcasts URL; ABS can resolve that).
  2. 02Text it to Elisha, or drop it in Discord #requests.
  3. 03Done. New episodes appear in your Podcasts library. Old episodes backfill if the feed includes history.
If a podcast is particularly gigantic (10 years of daily episodes, you know the type), let Elisha know and she'll limit how far back to pull.

If things go sideways

Trouble shooting.

Requests mostly Just Work. When they don't, here are the usual suspects.

I don't see my requested title after 24 hours.+
Two reasons it takes longer than usual: the release isn't out on high quality yet (*coughs* cam rips are banned), or something broke in the automation. Drop a note in the Discord #support channel. Elisha usually checks every evening.
Overseerr says 'available' but it's not on Plex.+
The metadata is optimistic. Open Plex, pull-to-refresh on the library. If it still isn't there after a minute, the file landed but the scanner missed it. Text Elisha the title; 30 seconds to fix.
Can I request a show that's currently airing?+
Yes. Hit Request all seasons in Overseerr and new episodes auto- download a couple hours after broadcast. No need to re-request weekly.
What about anime / foreign / niche stuff?+
Overseerr searches everything TMDB knows about, which is a lot. For dual-audio anime specifically, add a note in the Overseerr request comment. Elisha has a separate pipeline for those.
Can I request a book that's not on Goodreads?+
If Goodreads doesn't have the title (rare; they cover pretty much everything with an ISBN), text the title + author to Elisha directly. Obscure translations and self-published stuff can take a few days.
Is there a limit?+
No, but please don't request 80 things in a weekend. Moonrock is a single machine and aggressive queueing slows everyone down.
Still stuck? Text Elisha, or the Discord #support channel. Someone's always around.
